NCC REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2009-20010

Achievements:
         * Sound mind in sound body is an adapt adage goes with our NCC cadets. The 1[TN] Air squ Ncc of SDNB Vaishnav College has 27 cadets comprising 12 first year cadets, 9 second year cadets and 6 third year cadets. Our cadets attended various camps conducted by the NCC dicectorate of TN, Pondicherry and Andaman & Nicobar. I am glad to inform that our senior cadets have qualified with ‘B’ certificate.

         * C/CPL S.Shalini, III B.Com is adjudged as the Best Cadet for the year 2009-10. RDC JGC was held in September and October in Viveham, Coimbatore in which our cadets Annapoorani.S, and Priyadharashini won prize in contigent drill.

         * VSC [Lauch] camp was held in September and October at PSG College, Coimbatore and our cadet Bhuvaneswari.M. was the only cadet to represent 1[TN] Airsqn NCC.

         * NIC [National Integration Camp] held in the month of December in Madya Pradesh in which our cadets Annapoornai S. Sasi.V, Divya.V, Priyadharshini.S were participated energetically.

         * Our cadets Bhuvaneswari.M. Annapoorani, S, Priyadharashini.V, Sasi, Prathusha, Priyadharshini represented 1[TN]Air Sqn NCC, Chennai in the Independence day Parade. Raksha and Brinmda won gold medal in flag area.
