Career Guidance and Placement Cell

         Placement Cell in the institution plays a vital role in the present world of opportunities. The cell is devoted to cater to the needs of organization in conducting campus interviews for placements. Placement Cell takes the initiative to provide placement. It has been formed under the supervision of placement officer to provide placement to all deserving students in the field they are interested. Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. This cell endeavors to provide career planning and job seeking assistance to students. Job placement through campus interviews is the most important activity of the cell. Most of the students of various departments get jobs through campus interviews each year. This cell gives information for higher studies, job opportunities and practical training etc.

Objectives :

The Cell invites experts from outside to give lecture on various aspects connected with career development of students.

The Cell regularly conducts training programmes like communication skills, personality development, Aptitude tests, interview handling, group discussions etc.,

It organises campus interviews for final year students.

Placement Procedure :

     Pre-Placement presentations are made by recruiting organizations. In such talks information relevant to organizational functioning, job specifications, description, and job-profile may be provided to the students.

     This is followed by the actual recruitment process. It may include written tests, group discussions, interview sessions and other selection modes relevant to the employing organization.

      With prior intimation, companies are allowed to hold pre-placement presentations and recruitment exercises in the college premises itself.
