The PG Department of Commerce came into existence during the period July 2001 with fifteen students and one staff member as full fledged department. At present the department has four faculty members who are adequately qualified to handle PG. One staff member has cleared NET and completed her Ph.D, Two staff members have qualified their NET exams and one staff has completed her Ph.D.

The department staff have attended many seminars and workshops to guide the students for their futuristic endeavors. The students are equipped with the knowledge of seminars and project preparation.

Initially there were 15 students admitted to this course, at present the total strength of students is 80. (both first years and second years).

The department aims at giving quality education and also to upgrade the career oriented skills and personality development of the students.

The department also thrives for empowering women through progressive learning and also create social awareness among students.
