SIFE - Students In Free Enterprise

SIFE is an international organization started in India in 2004.In SIFE we work on community based projects which will be presented in three levels.
1. Regional 2. National 3.International
We have undertaken and done various community based projects. We have represented our college both in Regional and National levels.

Criterias:
To ensure economic, social, and environmental factors applying business and economic concepts and an entrepreneurial approach.

CURRENT PROJECT: CHOCOLATE FOR TASTE -BUDS

This time the project adopted was Chocolate For Taste Buds. The community focused was Women Self- Help Groups from Vandalur. Miss Samyuktha-a young entrepreneur, under the guidance of Mrs. Manjula accompanied us in helping these women in making chocolates under the supervision of our Faculty Advisor. This was taught with various materials like dry fruits, chocolates, sugar balls, white chocolates and even both mixed together.

SYNOPSIS OF SIFE ACHIEVEMENTS:

2005: Our college SIFE team participated in National Competition held at Mumbai.
2006: At Sife Regional Competition, our college team won the Runners’ Trophy.
2007: SDNB SIFE TEAM won the Regional Competion and represented south India in the National Competition held at Mumbai where we won the Runners’ Trophy.
2008: Our college SIFE team won the Regional Competition and participated at National Competition held in Mumbai.
2009: Our college SIFE team participated at the Regional Competition held in Chennai.
2010: Our college SIFE team participated at the Regional Competition held in Chennai.
