Smrti2015 the annual cultural carnival of our college is an annual medley of the truly traditional arts and popular contemporary arts. The Festival is held in memory of the founder Chairman , Shri Nanalal Bhatt and his wife Smt. Devkunvar.

This year’s two day carnival was inaugurated by T.M Krishna , Carnatic Music Vocalist on 3rd sep 2015.The special guests for this occasion were Chandran (Actor) , Anjana ,(TV Anchor).They inspired and entertained our students .The inaugural was a melodious treat to the audience who got immersed in the mellifluous voice of T.M Krishna.

The theme chosen for this year’s carnival is DREAMS , a very fitting tribute to the inspiring personality , Late A.P.J Kalam. The literary events focused more on the inspiring sayings of Kalam. Most of the events had Dreams as the theme. There was a very good response from various colleges all over the city. Around 40 college have responded their participation.

Strains of Carnatic music mingled with the latest film songs which inspired the participants to their popular tunes. Similarly , brain and memory testing quiz went side by side with the not-so-easy but fun-filled contests like Just-a-minute , Tamil oratory , Tamil Kavithai, English oretary and the very popular Dumb charads ,Adzap and variety entertainment , not only tested the skills of the participants but also of the able judges. Tamil kavidhai too had a good response like the contest that focused on the artistic skills using flowers. Beautiful pookolam were done by the participants. New contests – Vase painting ,Quill art , Tatoo designing had a very good response.Beautifully dressed girls marched on for the newly introduced competition Fashion show.

The college had a festive feel for two days with SUR , MASTI, ROCK , TALK , INNOVATION happening all around.
