THEATRICAL CLUB

         The Theatre club was started by the 8 member group of friends during December 2009, with support from EVAM- a well established Theatre and Entertainment Company, based in Chennai- being a guiding mentor and precursor. The group’s major aim is to make people around happy and to develop the knowledge about theatre and give it to the next generation. Innovation is what the artists seek and that runs in their blood incessantly. Theatre Club carved its niche by the tireless zeal, impeccable dedication and unquenchable thirst its members have for Theatre. The members of the club staged a play in the AIRTEL THEATRICALS-powered by EVAM in January 2010, an Intercollegiate Theater Fest and won the Best Star Performer Award in the midst of cut-throat competition. The Club has also tried a hand in MIME under the training of the company, Mac Trics and performed during the NAAC peer visit and College day 2011 and was critically acclaimed by the NAAC Committee.

Inauguration of Theatre Club for this academic year was held on 25.7.2011.
