VAISHNAV CONSUMER CLUB

         The Vaishnav Consumer Club conducted the inaugural meeting on 28-07-2014 by Mr.Santhanarajan Director, Consumer Association of India who addressed the students on Consumer Rights and Protection. The Club organized a one day Inter Collegiate Seminar on 11Th August 2014 on the topic Making Students Informed Consumers in association with CAI. The chief guest of the seminar Dr.A.M.Swaminathan, IAS (Retd) gave the inaugural address. The Consumer Club Students participated in various competitions like potpourri, junk Art, Quiz, product packaging etc conducted by colleges like GSS jain college, DG Vaishnav college, Loyola college. The students also participated in Trade Fair held at island ground conducted by the Govt. of Tamilnadu from 19.01.2015 to26.01.2015.The students created consumer awareness among the public by issuing pamphlets and other useful information regarding consumer rights.
